Blomus Soap Dish, Porcelain

This soap dish is attractive & well-designed, but the construction is not good. The metal drain piece doesn't fit well into the recess. Oriented one way, it's too loose & falls out. Oriented the other way, it's too tight & doesn't sit flush into the recessed area. It's smaller than it looks online, so be aware that large bars of soap won't entirely fit within the confines of the dish. The inside well portion that collects soap/water residue, is quite small & difficult to access for cleaning. Buyers should be aware that although Blomus is a German company, there's a sticker on the box that reads "Made in China". There is no mention of washing instructions, so I don't know if the porcelain section is dishwasher safe or not. Not worth the money, for this relatively expensive item.
