3.0 out of 5 stars Good product for NEW installation, not replacement., October 24, 2011
This review is from: Broan #509S 180CFM 8" Utility Fan (Misc.)
Used this unit to replace a 10" Nutone unit which was 54 years old, but better engineered and still working, but I would have had to totally remove it and clean prime and spray paint it, which I had done previously, about 15 and 30 years ago. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Broan #509S 180CFM 8" Utility Fan (Misc.)
We use this with an external thermostat for auxiliary cooling in a transmitter building, it's well built and easy to install. The building is air conditioned, and this and another like it are back-ups should the AC fail.
