This review is from: Broan L100 109 CFM igh Capacity Polymeric Ventilation Fan (Tools & Home Improvement)
We were remodeling our guest bathroom, which requires a ventilation fan. The existing fans (2 since we lived here) have been so noisy as to be a deterrent from using it except when really necessary. We also had need of a fan that would vent vertically to the roof rather than sideways. This Broan L100 model can accomplish both. It's a big fan and takes a little bit more room (roughly 1 cu. ft), but it really delivers on "quiet". It was so quiet, we decided to install a timer switch so you have to select the specific amount of time you want the fan to be operating. Otherwise, it would have gotten left on all the time. We're definitely happy to have this silent fan as part of a significant upgrade to our bath.
