Nutone 690NT Bath Fan Upgrade Kit 60 CFM

While rearching for a bathroom fan/light combo for a new bathroom installation, I found reviews for this replacement kit. Did not know such existed. We have an older NuTone fan in a bathroom and I have always hated the noise level. I bought the Upgrade Kit today. Very easy to install. Was harder to take the old one out then putting this new set in. Took, maybe, the 10 minutes described by everone else. I definitiely notice a noise reduction improvement. It is not a silent system, but it is not advertised as such. The new fan does have more blades and is a little bigger, so I expect it does move more air. Simply--this is an inexpensive, easy and definite improvement, without having to replace the whole fan. Wish I had known about this sooner. Strongly recommend!

This Broan-Nutone 690NT worked well to replace the existing fan unit in my downstairs bathroom. Overall dimensions fit but the mounting holes were not a direct match and I had to drill a couple more to install completely. Hence, the four star rating and not five. This product is well worth the purchase and took me about 30 minutes to install including the modifications. If you do not mind working on your own household electrical appliances this is a great purchase.

This was a perfect fit for our nautillus bathroom fan. It arrived on time and the instructions were clear. Took about 15 minutes to install. The fan blade has more blades than the old one so it probably moves more air.
