Nutone 763RLN Bath Fan with Light White 100W incandescent Light 50 CFM

I was a little surprised when this light arrived as its not what is pictured! This is a perfectly square light and fan fixture. It fit and looked good so I intsalled it and I like it. It runs well. Just be cautioned that it is NOT what is pictured.

I bought this from Lowe's and gave it to my contractor as part of a bathroom remodel. It's a rarely used 1/2 bath so I didn't notice that something was wrong until the contractor was long gone. VERY LOUD! It vibrated like heck, too. I ended up taking it apart to see what was wrong...this was very easy and intuitive. The impellor blade was broken and thus the motor that was spinning was unbalanced and shaking it like crazy. The other piece was not up there and contractor didn't mention it which is why I'm guessing the contractor broke it and didn't say anything. I looked up the part on NuTone's site...only .63! I called customer service just to make sure I got the right part. A nice old lady picked up the phone and once I explained what happened, she told me I was under warranty (didn't even ask for proof) and shipped the part for free. Yeah! Got it a few days ago and put everything back together. Now its operating as I originally expected it to.

We recently had to replace our vent fan in the bathroom. I had no idea which one to get. Luckily the additional pictures made this one an easy selection. My husband had no problem installing the fan. It works well and isn't too loud.
