QTRE080R BNH 80CFM RETROFIT FAN

I renovated my home a while back and the half bath i made already had a window in it, so I never installed an exhaust fan. As time passed, I realized that having a bathroom close to the living areas like the living room and kids playroom was convenient, however let's face it...it's a little too close for comfort for the odors..lol. Anyway, I Googled exhaust fans that can be installed with little damage to the ceiling. All the reviews said this one was perfect for retrofitting where you don't have to brace it against the ceiling joists, well i couldnt get a secure fit without bracing it. It's built to be adjustable so you can extend or retract the brace arms depending on the width of your joists. But if you have no attic access, you have to open up the sheetrock pretty good to install it.
That being said, the fan is well built and REALLY REALLY quiet! And I don't know about its effectiveness with moisture but it definately takes care of the odors. The only other factor is if...Read more
