Unit was easy to retrofit for a similar unit that was more than 15 years old. The new fan is much noisier than the old one!!

The things works in terms of doing its exhaust function. However, the unit is pretty noisy and the lens on the light has a very dark yellow tinge to it, that most of the light coming out of it is filtered out, that the bathroom looks constantly gloomy and dim. I even tried daylight type bulbs and higher wattage bulbs, all to no avail!

We use this in the laundry room. It is a very small room and gets hot and moist. This fan along with a timer takes away the heat and humidity. You have to have a little knowledge and skill in order to install this fan. I would say anyone with medium talent can do it but it is not for the beginner.
