We had this fan installed when we remodeled our bathroom around 8 years ago. The first ran quiet for about 2 years then started making horrible noise then died. Replaced it at a cost of $115.00. Replace, repeat 2 more times. Purchased this one August 16th, a little cheaper but started making noise immediately! Upon inspection, the fan that is made to run so quiet is mounted crooked and rubbing on the metal. If you have to replace your fan, I recommend you try to find one that will last. In hind sight we would have saved money tearing out the bathroom ceiling and replacing the whole unit. Yep, made in China really saves us money.
