NuTone Model QT9093WH Combination Fan/Heater/Light/Night Light, 110 CFM 3.0 Sones with 4-Inch Duct Connector

I was thrilled to find this combination light/heater/fan/nightlight. It was round in shape which was the shape of the light I was replacing, so mentally I felt comfortable and prepared. It also seemed a lot nicer than a lot of the other 'contractor grade' light/fans I was coming across. Also .. I paid quite a bit of money for the QT version, which is supposed to be the deluxe quiet version of the two.

First complaint ... when you look up at the light, you can see EVERYTHING inside the unit. Every wire. Every duct. Every everything. It would be fine if I lived in a loft with exposed construction ... but this is just plain ugly. Plus I can only imagine in a few years once the dust starts to accumulate that it's going to be a pain to keep clean. Take a good look at the photo of this unit. Those vents are very big and expose everything on the inside ... from every angle. And even moreso once the light is on and everthing is illuminated inside the ceiling...Read more

These two are replacements for the same thing which we have used for decades. Nutone is a solidly reliable manufacturer and the products do everything that we need them to. They keep the bathroom dry.

This is a great product - it does it all. It's a bit complicated to install, but considering all that it does - I expected that. We put an LED lightbulb in for the nightlight and it gives a bluish moonlight glow. Very cool.
